Sleep Study - Level 2 Home

$0.00

Type 2 Home Sleep Study

What is a Type 2 Home Sleep Study?
A Type 2 Home Sleep Study is a portable test designed to assess and diagnose sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing disorders. This test is done in the comfort of your own home, allowing us to measure how well you breathe while you sleep, without the need to visit a sleep lab.

What does the test involve?
You’ll be given a small portable monitoring device that you’ll wear overnight while you sleep. The device will track vital information such as:

  • Breathing patterns

  • Oxygen levels

  • Heart rate

  • Snoring activity

Before going to sleep, our team will guide you through how to set up the equipment and make sure you’re comfortable with the process. The device will automatically record your sleep data, and in the morning, you’ll simply return it to us for analysis.

What can a Type 2 Home Sleep Study help with?
This test is commonly used to diagnose:

  • Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA)

  • Central sleep apnea

  • Complex sleep apnea

By monitoring your sleep at home, we can determine if sleep apnea or other breathing disorders are contributing to your symptoms like chronic snoring, daytime fatigue, or difficulty concentrating.

How to Prepare for Your Test
✅ Follow your normal bedtime routine as much as possible
✅ Avoid alcohol or sedatives on the night of the test, as they can interfere with your breathing patterns
✅ Make sure you have a comfortable sleeping environment, as you’ll need to wear the device overnight
✅ If you use any medications (especially for sleep or respiratory issues), let us know when you book the test

Get a Clear Picture of Your Sleep Health
If you’ve been struggling with symptoms like loud snoring, waking up tired, or unexplained daytime sleepiness, a Type 2 Home Sleep Study can help us determine whether sleep apnea is affecting your health.

Ask your GP for a referral or contact us directly to book your home sleep study today.
